Vintage FRANK HOLTON Couturier Model Antique C 1910 Cornet/2 MOUTHPIECES
1910 low pitch serial number 14XXX with. Extra HP valves, in addition to the LP valves. These were used to play in a higher key.
(2)mouthpieces:silver Frank Holton model #30 and. Frank Holton Horne model silver #28.
Stamped above the hand engraved design on the upper portion of the bell. The hand engraving in middle of the bell design says, NEW PROPORTION MADE BY FRANK HOLTON, CHICAGO. The horn probably needs some adjustments/and/or pad/cork attention. It has been sitting in storage but is in excellent condition. The Valves operate smoothly and quickly, the slide.
There is some silver tarnish on bottom of bell. There are some small dents on ends of a few valves. The original wooden case is splitting on the top and will need to be repaired.
