Stamped above the hand engraved design on the upper portion of the bell. The hand engraving in middle of the bell design says, NEW PROPORTION MADE BY FRANK HOLTON, CHICAGO. The horn probably needs some adjustments/and/or pad/cork attention. It has been sitting in storage but is in excellent condition. The Valves operate smoothly and quickly, the slide.
There is some silver tarnish on bottom of bell. There are some small dents on ends of a few valves. The original wooden case is splitting on the top and will need to be repaired.The inside of the original case, leather handle and latches are all in good condition.
