A beautiful example of a C. CONN Soprano Saxophone from 1913! Stunning, original, silver plate, very clean, museum quality, and plays great.

Arrives with original case in excellent condition, matching neck, original Conn Eagle mouthpiece, ligature, cap and original vintage neck strap. The case us original and has the C. Conn Elkhart Indiana label in the green stitching. This is a "high pitch" soprano. Please do your research on this instrument and what "high pitch" means.

It is pitched differently than standard "low pitch" instruments. Although the instrument is in tune itself, you will likely find it difficult to tune with standard instruments. Playing by yourself or with other "high pitch" instruments is ideal.

Honestly, I love the way this plays doing etudes, songs, practicing by myself. The tone is delightful, rich, singing. This is really an ideal horn for the avid saxophone collector, vintage sax collector or the avid collector of Conn saxophones history.
