Matching Exceptional Students With Quality Instruments. One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This one is a Yamaha Xeno YTR8335GS Bb horn in silver plate.

This is Yamaha's upgraded Xeno with the gold brass bell (the alloy, not the finish) which gives it a broad, rich, expansive tone compared to the brighter and more common 8335S. It is in excellent condition: silver plate about 99.9% with a tiny bit of wear right at the end of the leadpipe, and a couple very tiny dings that you have to go looking for to even notice them. No significant dents, no signs of repair.

The valves are fast and quiet with exceptional compression. Note that this horn is oiled with SYNTHETIC oil, and you must use the same or clean the valves and casings thoroughly before switching to a petroleum-based oil. All tuning slides are free. Just through the shop where it was lubed, polished, and had new water key corks and tuning slide O-rings installed. Includes a bunch of extras: Brand new ProTec slim profile straight mute, new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec finger protector, cleaning snake, and a Bach Corp.

All in a gorgeous Yamaha Custom Xeno double case in excellent condition with strap and two keys. It'll be hard to find a nicer Xeno than this on the used market, so snatch it up before the marching band rush!
