Shires C Trumpet Model TRQ13S Silver Plated w/OHSC. The Model Q13S trumpet features a centered bell taper helping it to produce a full, rich sound while maintaining incredible agility throughout all registers of the instrument. Matched with a firm, yet flexible slotting lead pipe, this trumpet achieves an ideal balance of breadth, clarity, agility, and projection. Nickel-silver balusters and valve caps add brilliance and character to the sound, increase its core, and contribute to cleanness and immediacy of attack. The Model Q13S trumpet is equally at home in orchestral, solo and chamber settings.

Q13 bell: 413/16-inch, one-piece, hand-hammered centered taper in yellow brass with round brass bead. 347-inch venturi, heavyweight yellow brass; open and free blowing with well-defined slots and easy response. Valve cluster: two-piece casings, standard weight, with nickel balusters.

Top valve caps: Nickel Silver. Lower valve caps: Nickel Silver. Shires makers mark, model designation, and traditional floral pattern. Includes Q Series trumpet case, mouthpiece, and care kit.
