C. G. Conn Connstellation 52B Professional Trumpet

  

This 52B appears to be a mid 2000's vintage. It has the popular reverse tuning slide with single radius bend. It is a free blowing horn with a. 462 bore and provides easy access to the upper register.

The slides are free and smooth. The valves are smooth, fast and tight with the Conn heavy modular bottom caps that have the threaded holes for adding the factory additional weight.

The compression is very good. The silver plating is approximately 95% with a few small dings and scratches from typical use.

None of the imperfections are large enough to show up very much in photos. There is a bit of plating wear on the third valve case from hand contact that can be seen in photo six.

It includes the padded gig bag as shown and has been completely gone thru, cleaned, lubed and is ready to go. This is a great all around horn with the intonation, exactness and response required for legit work and yet the ability to light up when pushed for commercial work. There are many positive reviews to be found online about this model.
