The neck is also in excellent condition, has a red mark on the cork from a felt tipped marker. This horn's serial # is 62815, puts it at 1920.
From my research, the stencils ran in the same serial numbers as the branded bueschers. Low pitch, so same as modern horns.
The case is pretty good for 101 years old! Does have a crack in the seam, upper right hand corner under the fabric. A little smell too, like an old closet.
Comes with mouthpiece, ligiture, cork grease, and neck strap. The item "Buescher true tone, stencil, Tenor saxophone, 1920" is in sale since Saturday, September 11, 2021.
