Conn 26M "Connqueror" silver plated "Naked Lady" alto saxophone with gold plated inner bell and rolled tone holes. Most keys move freely and the pads/corks are in poor condition. This alto saxophone needs to be professionally cleaned, new pads, corks and springs replaced to be made playable or overhauled/restored for optimal performance. There is a major bottom bow dent and other minor body dents can be removed during any future work performed. The socket neck has a micro-tuner and no signs of pull down.This tarnished silver alto saxophone has scratches throughout from normal use and some silver plating wear with approximately 75% of the plating intact. The serial number is in the M270, xxxA range which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1936. No mouthpiece or body plug is included and the thumbrest is missing. The alto saxophone has the potential to be a real gem with some TLC!
These are some of the nicest feeling Conn's ever produced and many keys have solid sterling silver touch pieces. They have adjustments on almost every key, so you can really personalize them. These are amazing saxophones due to their immense amount of engineering.
