In my 50+ years of playing Selmer Mark VI alto saxophones, this Yanagisawa Silver Plated 900 Series is the closest playing and feeling sax to a Mark VI that I have ever experienced. Silver plated Yany's are very hard to find. Silver plated horns are heavier and.

More resonant and offers more tonal presence and versatility. This effectively amplifies whatever is put in to the horn by the player and mouthpiece. So mouthpieces that are dark by nature will be darker. Mouthpieces that are richer and brighter will be richer and brighter. This is a 900 dated early 90's.

Sax has been sonically cleaned and hand polished. Some pads were replaced as needed.
