LYON & HEALY Semi-Curved Bb vintage SOPRANO SAXOPHONE-ALL ORIGINAL-MINT SHAPE! Body-Satin Silver with silver plated keys!

These semi-curved sopranos were likely made by the Martin Company -as it has the beautiful beveled tone holes that Martin was famous for. King Curtis recorded on one of these! The intonation is spot on-playing comfortably at A 440. It will, however, need an overhaul down the line, as a lot of the pads are the original white leather pads--Currently it does play down to low Bb with know problem and can be used on the gig immediately-but an overhaul eventually is recommended!! There is no key play, no dents and absolutely no re-soldered posts anywhere-(see photos)..

These Lyon & Healy's don't come around often and I can comfortably tell you that you'll never find a better one than this one! Truly a museum piece /collectors horn -as well as a players horn! Who ever acquires this rare vintage saxophone will not be disappointed!
