Excellent Condition Mount Vernon NY Bach Mercedes Trumpet. Silver plated with a First Valve thumb saddle.

A Mt Vernon Bach "Strad in disguise" at half the price. According to Vincent Bach, these Mercedes trumpets were essentially the same as his Stradivarius trumpet, without the nickel trim. Of Course, you can't see nickel trim on a silver plated trumpet anyway.. Plays well - like you would expect a Stradivarius to play from this era. Bell lettering and logo are clear and crisp. Professionally restored a few years ago, when a dent and hairline crack were expertly repaired. It's a beautiful trumpet with a gold finish inner bell. Everything functions as it should.
