VINTAGE SELMER RADIAL 66 GREAT PLAYER 5 BELL Bb TRUMPET SILVER AND CASE. This is one of the trumpets I dont want to sell after I start playing but Im limiting my trumpet collection. I acquired many trumpets over the years because I used to play test and compare one horn to the other.

And LARGE BORE 66 stamped on mouthpiece receiver. Trumpet is in original silver plate with crisp logos there is also engraving which is slightly lighter it is either original Selmer or custom post factory hard to tell. Horn carries serial #57xxx and his famous ergonomic valve section designed by the one and only Maurice Andre. There is minor wear on valve section as on photos. I believe that pinky was resoldered / reinforced at one point but its hard to notice.

Please notice slight dent removal line in the one area of the bell also not easy to notice and does not affect anything. The pistons are great and this horn really blows great.

The 3rd piston is not worn it sometimes older oil goes into plating on the piston. Case is original with slight tearing on the exterior but not much no emblem but latches and handle are perfect. SELMER IS NOT MAKING ANY TRUMPETS ANYMORE. THATS TOO BAD BUT YOU CAN GET GREAR ONE FROM THE PAST RIGHT HERE! This is a Professional grade horn perfect for classical or jazz playing.

It plays with gorgeous tone. Large bore is not exhausting and goes more towards sound quality rather than exhausting the player. To 48 USA so need residence or business address.
