It's in fantastic condition, but I've decided that the 43 is a better fit for me. Early Elkhart Bachs (sometimes called corporation bells) are noted for their craftsmanship and sound. This horn features a steel bell wire for better projection.

This horn was such a hit that Bach recently released the 50 year anniversary 37, which copies many of the features of this one. The anniversary trumpet is not available in lightweight, so this is your one chance to get one! The one major problem with horns of this age can be leaky valves, as was the case with this horn when I bought it. I had the valves plated about 2 years ago and they did a fantastic job, the compression is great. I recently cleaned and polished it, and all the slides move freely.
