Conn SS1 Severinsen Silver Plated Professional Trumpet - very good condition. This is a player's horn. All tuning slides work flawlessly, including 1st & 3rd saddle slides.

Valves feel & look great as expected. Amado water keys works perfectly.

The only finish issues is the wear to silver plating and some light pitting around the 3rd casing where it was handled when played. There is a very small leadpipe dent, and a small dent or 2 in the bell.

You can see these in the photos. Instrument has been cleaned and detailed in our instrument repair shop. This includes a molded plastic Conn case - The case is solid, however the 4 feet on case are collapsed into bottom of case (see photos). This includes a Bach 7C mouthpiece in good condition. Exceptionally sure footed, with greater upper register resistance, and superbly centered throughput its range. Whether Doc wants a brilliant, driving sound for jazz or a lyric concert tone, the SS-1 produces. This has the special 4-digit serial number (#02), used during Doc's SS-1 years.
